“Who are they?” combines the story of a family’s fortunes and misfortunes with a reflection on one’s identity layers and their changes over the years and different life events.

A friend is trying to finish a book about their family history, and they have the last person to track down: Gerta, a great-grandaunt about whom information has been extremely difficult to find. After several queries and initial investigation, a set of old diaries and boxes have been sent by an anonymous source. You will need to go through the materials to find out who this person is and uncover parts of their life story.
